A brief introduction to yourself, your family and your studies. We are Stephanie and Claude D’Amato. We have been married for 26 years, and our family is blessed with two children, our son Luke, and our younger daughter Kelsey. For the past years we both worked at the same workplace, an electronics manufacturing company. Stephanie worked within the administration and finance departments and Claude in manufacturing, engineering and quality. Mill-album tal-Familja Salesjana 1. 2. How did you come to know Don Bosco? At the age of 10, Claude was admitted to Savio College. At that time the school had less students since each Form (year) had only one class, besides year 6. This was Claude’s first encounter with Don Bosco, St. Domenico Savio, and the Salesians. When we met and got married, Claude frequently recounted what a nice and memorable experience he had at Savio College. It was his second home. The Salesians always made sure that each student became part of their family, through love, education, prayer and recreation. 30 years after Claude’s experience at Savio College, our son Luke was also admitted to Savio College. We were extremely happy. We started visiting Savio College for our son’s school activities, and together as a married couple this gave us the opportunity to once again get closer to Don Bosco, the Salesians’ charism, and their love for the youths.
