ice-cream outings, and even a star-gazing night at Savio College. One of the major events was a live-in, which allowed us to build stronger relationships with the youth, giving us a chance to share in Don Bosco’s joyful and loving presence. My role in the Oratory extended further during the summer months when I had the privilege of coordinating and directing Bosco Summer School (BSS). This six-week program, organized on behalf of the St. Alphonse Community and led by Fr. Paul Spiteri, involved more than 180 young participants and over 60 volunteer leaders. From the preparatory phases that began in January to the final Evening of Awards on August 30th, it was a transformative experience filled with laughter, learning, and fellowship. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all the participants for the joy and affection you shared, and to the guardians for your unwavering support and trust. A special thank you goes out to the Core Team—Selena, Martina, Kyle, Tanaya, and Luke—whose dedication and generosity made everything possible. Lastly, to Fr. Paul and my fellow Salesians, your guidance, empathy, and fraternal love during my first experience as BSS Director were invaluable. On September 8th of this year, during the Oratory Family Mass at 7:30 PM, I renewed my religious vows for another two years. It was a significant moment of recommitment, received by our Provincial, Fr. Eric Cachia, and shared with my confreres, benefactors, family, and friends. I look forward to continuing my formation and embracing the next phase of my journey—practical training. This coming year, I will continue teaching at Savio College and assist in accompanying our Savio Salesian Youth group, working closely with our vocation promoter and youth minister, Fr. Kenneth Micallef. My connection to Savio Salesian Youth is deeply rooted, as it was through my participation in this very group as a young Salesian Animator that my own vocational journey began. The voluntary work, responsibility, and faith experiences at a group level led me—and many others— on a personal path of spiritual growth, discernment, and eventually, a strong desire to embrace the Salesian life. I sincerely invite our entire Salesian Family to keep me in your prayers as I continue this journey. With your support and God’s grace, I look forward to serving our communities with ever greater dedication and love. Br.
