A brief introduction to yourself, your family and your studies. I am Simon Camilleri. Josanne and I have beenmarried since 1991 and we have three sons aged 27, 28 and 31. I am 60 years old and currently work as an IT Manager with 30 years experience in the IT sector. I graduated in engineering from the University of Malta andobtained my Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the same university. I am also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Mill-album tal-Familja Salesjana 1. 2. How did you come to know Don Bosco? It all started when I began attending meetings organised by Fr Fabio Attard for the parents of Savio College students. These formation meetings progressed to a point where I decided to become a Salesian Cooperator. The Cooperators group meetings I attend take various forms such as: Salesian formation lectures, group discussions, Lectio Divina, adoration sessions and retreats. I also attended conferences/courses covering Salesian spirituality and joined three pilgrimages to Valdocco in Turin. If I had to assess how much I learnt about Don Bosco I would say it’s still very much “works in progress” as there is so much more to learn and put in practice in daily life. In which way are you part of the Salesian Family? When my sons attended the Sliema Oratory, I joined the Parents Core Team helping out at the Oratory. During that time I was a volunteer at the Teatru Salesjan, participated in CEP meetings, attended events organised by the Past Pupils and Friends of Don Bosco and faithfully attended the Mass to celebrate 3.
