Hajja Salesjana

A brief introduction to yourself, your family and your studies. My name is Tanya Borg. Paul and I have been married since 1986 and we have two children Jean-Paul and Lara. I have always been a banker by profession, in fact I actually joined one of the major banks way back in 1978 and progressed to a managerial role. Currently I occupy the post of Senior Branch Manager in one of Malta’s leading banks. Mill-album tal-Familja Salesjana 1. 2. How did you come to know Don Bosco? One of the best things that happened to me and my family was when my son started to attend Savio College after passing from his Common Entrance exams. This is when we came in touch with the Salesians and the charisma of Don Bosco. My whole family was struck by the family spirit with which the school was and still is run and we all became involved in the extracurricular activities which were organised by the College. I served as a cashier, Secretary and President of the Parents Teacher’s Association for the years that my son attended Savio College. In which way are you part of the Salesian Family? When Jean Paul actually moved on to Sixth Form my husband and I continued to give a helping hand in the School and at the Dingli Oratory when required. I am proud to say that we were amongst the first group of Salesian Cooperators, forming part of the Da Costa Cooperators at Savio College. We are still active members of this group attending monthly formation sessions and helping out within the Salesian family as appropriate. These formation sessions help us Cooperators to be better educated and updated 3. Tanya Borg Salesian Cooperator Tanya with her family Family Borg 16 Ottubru-Diċembru 2023 hajja
