17 hajja In which way are you part of the Salesian Family? I’m a Salesian brother during my first year of practical training here in Malta. I made my novitiate in Kopiec, near Czestochowa and later had my post-novitiate in Poland as well. 3. Who is Don Bosco for you and what strikes you most about him? Don Bosco is a person who although is rooted in the past, always looked boldly into the future. This is what keeps the Salesian spirit alive. It needs to be rediscovered constantly during these changing times. 5. What message would you like to pass on to the readers of Ħajja Salesjana? From the moment I made the decision to join the Salesian Congregation, I could see God's guidance. God gives an inner peace that cannot be replaced by anything and gives a sense of satisfaction and fullness of life. I would like to wish all readers of Ħajja Salesjana that in their life's journey, they will meet God every day, letting themselves be guided by Him, because this will give them true happiness. 6. Is there a phrase or a sentence from Don Bosco that inspires you in your life? “Education is a matter of the heart” This seemingly simple maxim is both demanding and endearing too. With such an approach, education ceases to be the task of individuals but becomes the involvement of everyone, not only teachers and educators. Education becomes a call for the continuous development of everyone involved in this process. 4. April - Ġunju 2022
