27 We're going to stand up by St. John Paul II We're going to stand up every time human life is threatened... We're going to stand up every time that the sacredness of life is attacked before birth. We're going to stand up and proclaim that nobody has the authority to destroy the life not yet born... We're going to get up when a child is seen Like a weight or just as a means to satisfy an emotion and we'll shout out that every child is a unique and unrepeatable gift from God... We're going to stand up when the institution of marriage becomes abandoned to human selfishness... and we will assert the indissolubility of the bond of marriage... We're going to get up when the value of the family is threatened by social and economic pressures... and we will reaffirm that the family is not only necessary for the good of the individual but also for that of society... We're going to stand up when freedom is used to dominate the weak, to dissipate natural resources and energy and to deny the basic needs to people and we will reclaim justice... We're going to stand up when the weak, the elderly and the dying are abandoned in solitude and we will proclaim that they are worthy of love, of care and respect.
